The Computer Animation Festival is recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a qualifying festival. Since 1999, several works originally presented in the Computer Animation Festival have been nominated for or have received a “Best Animated Short” Academy Award.

Graphics interface is the oldest continuously-scheduled conference in the field. The conference consistently attracts high-quality papers on recent advances in interactive systems, human-computer interaction, and graphics, from around the world. GI 2014 will take place in Montreal, Quebec, from May 7th to 9th, 2014.
The 13th International Conference on Computer-Aided Design and Computer Graphics (CAD/Graphics 2013) is organized by the City University of Hong Kong. The conference will be held in Hong Kong on November 16-18, 2013, co-located with ACM SIGGRAPH Asia 2013 and ACM SIGGRAPH VRCAI 2013.

On August 10, 2014, the Forty-first International Conference on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques will commence at the Vancouver Convention Center in Vancouver, Canada. The conference will run from August 10 to August 14, with the exhibition open between August 12 and 14.

Since 2004, the ACM Symposium on Applied Perception (ACM SAP), formerly known as APGV, aims to further the development of inter-disciplinary research that crosses the boundaries between perception and disciplines such as graphics, visualization, vision, haptics and acoustics. These fields can benefit from the exchange of ideas and the scope includes applications and algorithms in any area of research that incorporates elements of perception and computer science.
Computer-based methods for the capture, construction, representation, fitting, interrogation and manipulation of complicated surfaces have led to a wide interest in, and need for, the mathematics of surfaces and related curves. Many applications require the use of surface descriptions, especially in such fields as computer aided design and manufacturing, computer graphics and computer vision.
The purpose of the International Symposium on Visual Computing (ISVC) is to provide a common forum for researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present their latest research findings, ideas, developments and applications in the broader area of visual computing. ISVC seeks papers describing contributions to the state of the art and state of the practice in the four central areas of visual computing: (1) computer vision, (2) computer graphics, (3) virtual reality, and (4) visualization.
